Baratines is the place in Brussels for sandwiches. Constantly experimenting new recipes, the two owners wanted an elegant yet quirky identity. The logo and the mark both use the sandwich shape, while the mark uses two “A”s, representing both the owners’ first names. This brunch restaurant has a very exotic, maximalist feel with green being a recurring theme throughout the place. We were also inspired by the green streetlights of Brussels for the main color.
Teamed up with “Le Super”, the bar that operates the location in the evenings, Baratines managed to achieve a high-quality sandwich bar in the heart of the Sablon district of Brussels. Offering surprising recipes, with things you’d never think of putting on a sandwich, their clientele is always happy. Their identity reflects the higher-end positionning while keeping the approachability of the owners.
