ESCA 2023



ESCA (and ESCAFÉ, the attached coffee bar) is a fictional restaurant branding project. For this identity, I started by writing the brands’ manifesto.

The manifesto acting as a guide, the hyper minimal design and simplified offer choice was obvious. Using Neue Haas Grotesk for the typography, and a monochromatic color palette, ESCA has a high-end feel but can also be playful depending on the usage of the typography (like with the banner design, using the letters in circles where they can act like balls affected by gravity).

In a world of overwhelming choices and mediocre experiences, we strive to redefine the culinary landscape with a small selection of dishes, each crafted to absolute perfection. We are guided by a simple philosophy: Less is more, but what we offer is extraordinary. Our menu represents a curated collection of dishes, carefully designed to cater to every palate and dietary preference.

We understand that diversity is the spice of life, and we embrace it by guaranteeing an amazing experience for each and every guest who walks through our doors.  While our selection may be small, it is diverse, offering something for every discerning palate. From mouthwatering meat dishes to vegetarian and vegan delights, we ensure that everyone finds their perfect match. We cater to dietary restrictions and food allergies, embracing the belief that everyone deserves to savor an exceptional meal.”
