Noe Rausens is a designer painter with whom I’ve had the pleasure to collaborate on the creation of her identity, catalogue and website. She creates artworks using reclaimed worksite materials such as cement and gravel to bring life and dimension to an otherwise flat surface. The website was created to act as a portfolio, to be updated continuously with new works. Using blend modes on the text for certain interactions with images, colors are created from scratch, another nod to Noe’s work.
Her logo is representative of her work, simple at a glance but more complex the closer you look. Using a typeface with inktraps, we simulate this idea. The colors are directly chosen from the vibrant colors of some of her artworks. The catalogue is a summary of her latest works, used as a sales tool. Using all of the assets created and a modern contemporary layout style, it is a perfect vehicle for her art in digital format .
